Automating workflows between different business tools and platforms

Zapier handles all the tedious connections between my tools. I have automations that save information from Squarespace to Airtable among others, and it's eliminated so many manual data entry tasks from my workflow.

General Research

When I need research with actual sources, Perplexity is my preferred AI tool because it provides citations. I trust it more for factual information and industry research since it shows me where the information comes from.

Micro-tool

I primarily use ChatGPT's custom GPT feature to build specialized tools for my business—like my Shopify AI Prompt Builder and Template Copy Wizard. These custom tools let me create quick, focused solutions that I can easily share with my team, clients, and students for specific tasks.

Video compression and captioning

When I need quick video edits or compression for social media, Veed is my go-to because it's fast and browser-based. I don't need to open heavy software for simple tasks like trimming clips or adding captions.

Database management

I use Airtable as my content management system for tracking website content and student progress. It has amazing automation options too!

Storing and sharing client files

I've been using Dropbox for years and love how reliable the sync is across all my devices. When I'm working with clients, the shared folder system makes collaboration seamless, and I never worry about version control issues.

I use Slack to keep all my team communications organized by project and topic. What I appreciate most is how it keeps conversations threaded and searchable—I can always find that important decision we made three months ago.

Central hub for business planning

Notion is my second brain—I literally run my entire business from here. From project planning to course content organization to task logging. I love how flexible it is!

Creating wireframes

I use Figma for everything visual—from wireframing client websites to creating slide decks for my courses. I love how I can collaborate with clients & team in real-time and they can leave comments directly on designs.
